Sherri Greenberg
Trainer
Sherri’s love of movement and fitness began at an early age with the art of dance. She danced throughout elementary, middle and high school. Her first job as a teenager was as a dance instructor.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from the University of South Carolina. She taught third grade for three years and was a guidance counselor for seven. As a guidance counselor, she developed a program incorporating movement and exercise to increase self-esteem and self-worth in adolescents.
After the birth of her third son, she became a stay at home mom spending her free time working out, playing USTA league tennis and volunteering for various organizations. In the past twelve years, she has competed and been an age group award winner in running events from 5K to marathon distance, triathlons at all distances; sprint, Olympic, half-ironman and ironman and the Mud Run. She has completed five marathons including New York, Marine Corps, Myrtle Beach, Kiawah and Boston. Her most recent athletic accomplishment was the completion of an ironman in Montreal, Canada.
Sherri began training with Chris over a decade ago. Chris’s low glycemic index eating plan and training program focusing on whole body functional movement enabled her to lose 18 pounds and to achieve her highest level of fitness. She attributes her strong sense of health, well-being and competitive athletic accomplishments to the Frontier Movement Training Program.
A teacher at heart with an energetic passion for fitness and the “Frontier Movement Way” led Sherri to certification as a personal trainer in 2006. She was the first trainer qualified by Chris to teach Frontier Movement workouts. Sherri has performed over 1000 hours of Frontier Movement work directly with Chris Hardwicke and is involved in the research and development of the Frontier Movement project. She has conducted training sessions with clients of all ages and ability levels with a variety of fitness goals. She is also a certified SPIN instructor and Zumba instructor.
She believes the real reason, the functional reason for being active is to live stronger healthier lives and that exercise is more than an activity, it is a way of life. She believes bodies are too incredible not to be used and using them leads to self-awareness, reliance and a vigorous mind, body, soul connection.
Sherri enjoys working with a variety of clients. Whether a weekend warrior, beginning runner training for a first 5K or mud run, multi-sport athlete preparing for a triathlon, aspiring young athlete or seeker of anti-aging exercises and movements, she wants to inspire and motivate people to reach their fitness goals. She looks forward to empowering clients to live healthier active lifestyles through exhilarating playful workouts that bring out the athlete and child within.

Stephanie Swann
BS, LMT, CPT, CNT
- Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina School of Public Health, May 1997
- Nationally Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy, May 1998
- AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, April 2001
- Certified Natural Trainer from Monkey Bar Gym in Madison Wisconsin, April 2008
Shortly after opening her massage practice, Stephanie met Chris Hardwicke who owned the gym next door. They began trading bodywork for training sessions. Within two years, Stephanie had moved her practice into the gym and, at Chris's urging, obtained her personal training certification.
"I soon realized that Chris's experience as an Olympic level athlete, coach, and trainer was much more valuable than a weekend certification. Even a college education was no match for hands-on learning with a trainer with so much experience."
Growing up, Stephanie was always active but could never be considered fit. As a child she played soccer for six years. She danced in her middle school and high school's performing arts program as well as a civic jazz company in Columbia. She played high school varsity fast-pitch softball, church softball and basketball, and occasional golf and tennis.
"I was always a thin girl. The term "skinny fat" comes to mind. I was small but had no muscle tone. When I began lifting weights in my early twenties, I was so excited to be motivated to have the body I always wanted. I was finally willing to work for it. Twelve years later I actually weigh more than I ever have. BUT, I'm smaller than I ever was, with defined muscle, and in the best shape I've ever been in. I couldn't care less about what the scale says!"
Stephanie's strong background in anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, and motor development gave her a keen sense of how the body is supposed to move and how muscular imbalance and skeletal deviation can cause postural distortion. Those studies plus 14 years of practical experience in clinical therapeutic massage and 8 years of personal training have sharpened her understanding of the form and function of the human body.
Stephanie has performed over 1000 hours of Frontier Movement work directly with Chris Hardwicke and is involved in the research and development of the Frontier Movement project. Her combined practice of massage and training give Stephanie the unique ability to watch a client move, notice particular structural or muscular weaknesses, and then coach the client to move more efficiently.
Likewise, Stephanie can help an injured client get back to full function and balanced movement. It is not enough to focus on the aesthetics of building muscle. Being able to translate actions in the gym to useful activity in day-to-day life is the key to having a well-balanced and strong body.
"I'll tell you the truth. I'm human too, and sometimes I just don't feel like working out. But I know that my partners are counting on me to be there. I have come to love the AGONY and the ENERGY of group workouts! You will often find me collapsed on the floor, drenched in sweat at the end of a set...and loving the feeling!!

Blake T. Prince
LMT, APSI
- Connective Tissue and Neuromuscular Massage
- Structural Integration
- Exercise classes aimed at restoration and healing
Blake Prince, Licensed Massage Therapist and Practitioner of Structural Integration, has twenty years of experience in bodywork. He received his initial massage training at the Carolina School of Massage in Carboro, North Carolina in 1992.
Shortly after he began his practice, he received training in neuromuscular massage, a modality that specializes in relieving chronic pain through deep tissue massage and trigger point manipulation.
Two years later, Blake received certification from the Institute of Structural Integration. Structural Integration, developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf, is a revolutionary technique that focuses on the manipulation of the fascial anatomy and reestablishes whole body integrity and alignment, thereby alleviating many causes of chronic pain and mechanical dysfunction. In 2007, Blake received certification as an Advanced Practitioner of Structural Integration.
For many years, Blake has enhanced his practice through associations with various indigenous healers from Peru and North America. Currently, he is furthering his professional competencies here at Frontier Movement by training directly under Chris Hardwicke in order to work with individuals while focusing on exercise as a modality for healing and regeneration.
Blake graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1972 with a major in political science. He is also an accomplished woodworker and photographer.

Nicki Anahata Musick
Yoga Instructor
My first attraction to yoga was primarily a spiritual calling. My first introduction to yoga and meditation came through the teachings of Avatar Meher Baba when I was in high school in Myrtle Beach. Around 1970 I visited the beautiful preserve and spiritual retreat there dedicated to Him.
In 1971 I moved to the southwest and began Kundalini Yoga and Meditation studies and practice with the 3HO (Happy Healthy, Holy) Foundation and Yogi Bhajan (a Yoga Master from India who emerged out of the Haight/Ashbury era of the 60’s helping youth find health, happiness and wholeness through Kundalini Yoga. You might know him as the originator of the now famous Yogi Tea!)
I experienced the disciplines of living yoga as an ashram resident and began studying massage therapy and holistic health in those days. I have had the immense good fortune to go on to study with other renowned teachers of our times.
I was a staff member for the Mind Body Medical Institute’s affiliate program of the Beth Israel Medical Center and Harvard University, teaching Yoga and stress management skills for medical symptom reduction. I have taught in many institutions and facilities.
I have assisted midwives and mothers as a Doula at home and in the hospital delivery room and am certified in Conscious Pregnancy under Gumukh Kaur Khalsa and Prenatal Yoga under Stephanie Keach.
I opened the Yoga and Wellness Center of Columbia in 1994 as “Kundalini Rising” at Stardust Books. I became a member of the Yoga Alliance and the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association. We reopened as the Yoga and Wellness Center of Columbia in 1996, which continued for another 14 years.
Presently I teach individualized, group and specialty yoga and meditation classes. I provide yoga and breathing therapies and massage & bodywork at the Palmetto Spinal Center. I bring you the transformational tools of yoga music and sacred sound. I am a faculty member of the Legal Ethics and Practice Program for the South Carolina Bar teaching stress management techniques, and provide natural food supplements and bodycare assistance at Rosewood Market, Columbia’s pioneer holistic center!
My primary work today is helping others in the efforts for a strong and healthy body, a peaceful mind and open heart.
